Here's a very interesting talk by Dan Simons about why we see the world as it ISN'T. Daniel Simons, experimental psychologist, cognitive scientist, and Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois and co-authored the book, "The Invisible Gorilla, and Other Ways Our Intuitions Deceive Us" (Crown, 2010) tells us how we see the world as it is NOT.
